You will hardly believe your ears that this is happening. There are
schools in Tamil Nadu where children are made to wear wrist bands of
different colours - depending on their caste. The different colours
being used are red, yellow, green and orange. A red band, for example,
means you are from an oppressed caste. Children are also wearing rings
and tilaks on their foreheads to serve as caste markers.
