On the Parinirvana day of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the workers of the Student Council celebrated it as Social Harmony Day. A seminar was organized by offering flowers on the portrait of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar in the District Children's Jail. Keynote speaker, District Coordinator Shyam Ji Upadhyay said that Baba Saheb opposed untouchability throughout his life.
He did commendable work for the social and economic upliftment of the Dalit society. District Organization Minister Anoop Bharat said that Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar ji considered politics as a means of public welfare. He used to say- 'Justice always creates the idea of equality.
Constitution is not just a document of lawyers, it is a means of life. Undoubtedly, the country will never forget his contribution. On this occasion, District Organization Minister Anoop Bharat, District Convenor Shyam Ji Upadhyay, Department Co-Convener Sudhanshu along with District Jail Incharge and Staff, about 50 child prisoners were present.
