On the fifth day of the 23rd National Book Fair at Balrampur Garden, Lucknow, books on Dalit discourse were a major draw. Along with Dalit literature, books on Ambedkar, the Constitution, and Buddhist literature also sold well.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Samyak Prakashan\u2019s stall, R.L. Chandrapuri\u2019s \u2018Brahmin Raj and the Backward Class Movement in India\u2019, Rajkumar Historian\u2019s \u2018Nagvanshi Bharat\u2019, and Dr. Rajendra Prasad Singh and Dr. Shashikala\u2019s \u2018Excavating Kabir with New Tools\u2019 are being appreciated. Both volumes of \u2018Yadav (Jatav) Jivana\u2019 by Sunderlal Sagar, published in 1929, are also available in a new edition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ashok Gopal\u2019s translated book, Babasaheb Dr. Ambedkar: Life and Thoughts, is in the news at Setu Prakashan. Readers are liking \u2018Ambedkar and Parliamentary Democracy\u2019, edited by Ratanlal, at Rajpal\u2019s stall. At the Constitution Promotion stall, Dr. Devendra Pratap Yadav\u2019s \u201cZahreela Bahumat\u201d and the exhibits on \u201cBahujan\u201d edited by Ramkumar Gautam are also attracting attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Buddhist literature, Dr. Jagannath Upadhyay\u2019s \u201cBuddhism\u2019s Contribution to India\u201d is prominent. At Prabhat Prakashan\u2019s stall, author Mahendra Kumar Agarwal was seen providing information about the history and eternal traditions of Sambhal through his book \u201cMera Sambhal Mahaan.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Literary figures honored in his memory<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Uttar Pradesh Sahitya Sabha\u2019s Pranam Parivar Samman ceremony was held on the main stage. Conceived by Sarvesh Asthana, literary figures were honored in his memory. This was followed by a poetry festival conducted by Mukul Mahan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the morning, the Navsarjan ceremony released \u201cSadchitta Anand\u201d and \u201cK Se Kavi.\u201d Literary figures, including Padmashree Vidyavindu Singh, shared their views in a dialogue on Awadhi literature.
