About ASSA

Ambedkar Society for South Asia (ASSA) works for the promotion of Dr Ambedkar Philosophy of Social Justice for uplifting of oppressed and marginalized minority communities of South Asia prominent including Dalits Community. Dr Ambedkar’s philosophy addresses issues and needs of socially, economically and politically deprived, neglected, down trodden and caste ridden society of South Asia. ASSA is to pave a path to bring the followers of Baba Sahib Ambedkar together and make joint effort to save minorities and lower caste poor people of South Asian region from oppression and exploitation.

ASSA promotes the teaching and philosophy of Dr. Ambedkar through seminars, conferences and also carries out social work for welfare of minority communities in the field of health and education.
