Tamil Nadu Schools Children Forced To Wear Caste Markers

You will hardly believe your ears that this is happening. There are schools in Tamil Nadu where children are made to wear wrist bands of different colours - depending on their caste. The different colours being used are red, yellow, green and orange. A red band, for example, means you are from an oppressed caste. Children are also wearing rings and tilaks on their foreheads to serve as caste markers.
